Personal Development
Personal Development
Personal development is a key part of student learning at Eton Dorney School with SMSC at the heart of our school development. Our aim is for our students to leave as well-rounded and contributing members of society. Through our curriculum and other creative opportunities, our students access different experiences which develop their character, confidence, resilience, self-esteem, self-worth, life skills, and independence.
Our students leave for further education or the world of work with the necessary skills, qualities, aims in life, and the ability to set goals to realise and maximise their potential.
Our Personal development is accessed through aspects of our robust curriculum, and our trauma informed therapeutic approaches through the areas below.
• Personal, Social, Health, and Citizenship Education
